Who says you can’t have Homemade Ice Cream while camping? It’s definitely possible!
Here’s an easy to follow do-it-yourself ice cream recipe when you’re out camping, especially during summer.
Ingredients:
5 cups Ice
Rock salt
1 pint Half & Half
3.4 oz Instant pudding
Large and small cook pot
Preparation:
In a small pot, pour 1 pint Half & Half milk into the pudding. Stir it well to get all the clumps out. Cover it.
Pour ice into the big cook pot. Make sure it covers the bottom of the pot. Cover the ice with rock salt.
Put the milk and pudding mixture on top of the ice and rock salt preparation.
Cover the small pot with ice and rock salt. Make sure that the rock salt does not get into the ice cream.
Ensure that you can put the pot lid on afterwards.
After putting on the lid, let it sit for about 30 minutes. Open and serve.
